• Urea 5% – naturally present in Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF); binds water, moisturises, softens and smooths the epidermis and supports the protective barrier
  
• Ceramides 1, 3, 6II, phytosphingosine and plant-derived cholesterol – physiological lipids that create a lamellar structure similar to the natural epidermal barrier; replenish lipids, strengthen the protective barrier and prevent excessive water loss
  
• Sodium lactate – salt of lactic acid naturally present in NMF; strongly moisturises, binds and retains water in the epidermis, protects against excessive water loss and softens the outer layer of the skin
  
• Squalane – biocompatible with skin lipids; strengthens the protective barrier and softens and firms the epidermis
